We were looking for a local brunch spot in Rome, close to the hotel we were staying, and Centro sounded like the perfect place based on the menu items we saw. I am glad we chose the place! My wife and I enjoyed the food a lot, and their freshly squeezed orange juices are excellent! I had the scrambled eggs with salmon, and my wife had the toast with salmon and mayo, and both dishes were fresh and delicious. It gave us a good break from the pizza and pasta we had been having during our Italy trip. The service was prompt, and ambience was quiet for a busy Rome neighborhood, and the restaurant was clean and nicely laid out. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

This cafe is nestled right in the hotel district. Delicious fresh pastries and fantastic coffee are available all day. They also serve "American Breakfast" (bacon & eggs) and have some of the friendliest staff that we encountered during our visit.
The space is bright and welcoming and the bar offers a variety of bourbons (surprisingly difficult to find in Rome). And, they are open late (midnight) for your late night munchies. -

Excellent customer experience, mixologist is top notch. His drinks were tasty all the way through and NOT watered down

I decided to check Centre because one restaurant I wanted to go to was full and was only taking reservations. When I arrived around 715pm,the restaurant was almost full. I had to wait a little to be waited on. I had the happy hour special with the platter and a espresso martini, and Verrigni half-sleeves with Carbonara. The platter and the espresso martini was okay. The carbonara serving size was smaller than expected. The carbonara had too much pepper which made it taste too salty. I had to drink a whole bottle of water when eating my dish. After I was done eating, I almost had to wait 10 minutes just for the server to get the credit card machine reader. I think in order for the customer service to be better, they should have at least 3 servers on the floor.

I have been here several times, for both lunch and dinner, because it's right next to the location of a summer course I teach. The staff has always been professional and courteous, and the food always satisfying, at reasonable prices. Try the polpo rosticciato, or one of their various tartare for appetizer. Among the primi, the tonnarelli al nero di seppia or cacio e pepe. For secondo, a nice fish burger, for instance. Or you may want to check out one of their salads, particularly the salmon one. During the weekend they have a brunch menu.
